Update on the Prisoner Essay Anthology

It Means What It Says:  Trying to Understand the Prisoner – Volume One, which includes my essay “The Prisoner’s Progress,” is now available. There are two versions: black & white and color (presumably a nod to the Village Maps available for No.6 to buy in “Arrival”).

I haven’t got my mitts on this yet, but having seen an early draft it looks very interesting and informative. This will be the first of 3 anthologies editor Ed Fordham has planned. This month marks the 50th anniversary of The Prisoner.

It Means What It Says: 50 Years of Trying to Understand THE PRISONER

I have an essay on the use of allegory in The Prisoner which will appear in the upcoming charity anthology It Means What It Says: 50 Years of Trying to Understand “The Prisoner.” This will be an e-book, edited by Ed Fordham, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the TV show, with profits going to the Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice in Conwy, Wales. It will be released in early fall to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the show.
