Update on the Prisoner Essay Anthology

It Means What It Says:  Trying to Understand the Prisoner – Volume One, which includes my essay “The Prisoner’s Progress,” is now available. There are two versions: black & white and color (presumably a nod to the Village Maps available for No.6 to buy in “Arrival”).

I haven’t got my mitts on this yet, but having seen an early draft it looks very interesting and informative. This will be the first of 3 anthologies editor Ed Fordham has planned. This month marks the 50th anniversary of The Prisoner.

Mrs. Claus Anthology from World Weaver Press

My short science fiction story “Agatha Sings to the Scorpions” will be included in the World Weaver Press anthology Mrs. Claus – genre stories using Mrs. Claus as a character or theme. More details and release date TBD, but I assume it will be out by Christmas.

“It Means What It Says: Trying to Understand ‘The Prisoner'” Now Available on Amazon

The charity digital book It Means What It Says: Trying to Understand THE PRISONER – Volume One is now available for pre-order on Amazon in the UK. This includes my essay on interpreting The Prisoner series as an allegory and how the series overcomes the usual shortcomings of allegory. The volume is edited by Ed Fordham, and a portion of the profits go to Ty Gobaith Children’s Hospice in Conwy, Wales.
